Trend & Market Research
Seasonal direction, colour forecasting, competitor and category research, and reference gathering before a single motif is drawn.
DYT - Design Your Textile - is a graphic design studio specialized in textile businesses. We don't split our attention across packaging, FMCG or general branding. Everything we do serves cloth and the people who make and sell it: textile design, production-ready artwork, 3D CAD visualization and motion design.
Textile has its own rules. A repeat has to tile invisibly. A colour has to survive the dye bath. A design has to be produced, then shown to a buyer who was never in the room. When a studio works across many industries, these rules get diluted - and the presentation gets generic. We chose to work in one industry so we could master its rules and its language.
That focus means we think in repeat sizes, not artboards. In Pantone and dyelots, not hex codes. And because we also work in 3D CAD and motion, we can carry the same design from a flat file to a rendered, animated presentation - without ever handing it to a different studio.
The things a design team - or a single designer - has to take care of on a textile project. We cover all of it, and document it so nothing gets lost downstream.

Hand-painted and digital motif development, composition, layout and the transition from artwork into a true repeat.
Production-resolution files, colour separation, ICC guidance and repeat metadata prepared for digital, rotary or flat-bed printing.
Fabric, garment and home product models with realistic drape, material and colourway renders - built to CAD precision for approval and catalogue use.
Drape and flow animation, print repeat motion, product turntables and collection showreels built for launches, e-commerce and social.
Structured tech packs, spec sheets and file organisation so the mill, printer and garment team all work from the same truth.
We work by hand where it matters and digitally where it counts - from paint and pencil to 3D CAD and motion. The aim is always the same: original design that runs cleanly in production and presents powerfully on screen.
Gouache, ink, watercolour and pencil work - the texture and imperfection that digital tools alone rarely capture.
Seamless repeat building, colour separation, colourway mapping and production-resolution artwork preparation.
Fabric, garment and product models with realistic drape, material and lighting - rendered across colourways and variants.
Drape animation, print motion, product turntables and edited collection showreels built from the same designs and 3D models.
We work with fashion labels, home textile brands, mills and printers, and independent designers who need production-grade artwork - and the 3D and motion that sell it.
Seasonal print and structure design, colourways, repeats, production files and 3D garment renders for womenswear, menswear and kidswear across woven and knit fabrics.
Upholstery, drapery, bedding and cushion design - placement prints, wovens and jacquards, visualized in 3D and presented in motion for interiors.
Production-ready artwork and repeat engineering, plus 3D visualization and motion to help mills present their own seasonal collections or client-specific ranges.
End-to-end design, documentation, 3D renders and motion for smaller runs - helping new labels get production-grade files and presentation-ready assets without building an in-house team.
Whether you're building a collection from scratch, need production files for an existing design, or want your range rendered and animated, we'd like to hear about it.
